Data Mannual (Release January 7, 2011)

ASCII file MDOT110107.dat contains three columns:

1. Longitude: from -179.5 to 180.0
2. Latitude: from -66.5 to 77.5
3. MDOT, in cm

Data are on 0.5-degree grid and written only at locations where drifter observations are available.

CONDITIONS OF USE: The data is released for unrestricted public use and 
distribution. Please acknowledge the use of the data as follows:
"The 1992-2002 mean ocean dynamic topography data has been developped by Nikolai
Maximenko (IPRC) and Peter Niiler (SIO)."

Acknowledgments. This work was sponsored by NASA grants through the membership 
in the NASA Ocean Surface Topography Science Team. NM was also partly supported through the institutional NASA, NOAA, and JAMSTEC grants.
