SUMMARY Velocity data assessed from trajectories of Argo floats at parking level and at the sea surface. 2. FORMAT The yomaha07.dat file structure is: Columns 1-8 contain three-dimensional coordinates, time, components and errors of the deep float velocity. 1 - Longitude where deep velocity is estimated 2 - Latitude where deep velocity is estimated 3 - Parking pressure (dbars) for this cycle 4 - Julian time (days) relative to 2000-01-01 00:00 UTC 5 - Eastward component (estimate) of the deep velocity (cm/s) 6 - Northward component (estimate) of the deep velocity (cm/s) 7 - Error estimate of Eastward component of deep velocity (cm/s) 8 - Error estimate of Northward component of deep velocity (cm/s) Columns 9-15 contain horizontal coordinates, time, components and errors of the float velocity at the sea surface. 9 - Longitude where sea surface velocity is estimated 10 - Latitude where sea surface velocity is estimated 11 - Julian time (days) relative to 2000-01-01 00:00 UTC 12 - Eastward component (estimate) of velocity (cm/s) at the sea surface 13 - Northward component (estimate) of velocity (cm/s) at the sea surface 14 - Error estimate of Eastward component of surface velocity (cm/s) 15 - Error estimate of Northward component of surface velocity (cm/s) Auxiliary float and cycle data are in columns 16-27 16 - Longitude of the last fix at the sea surface during the previuos cycle 17 - Latitude of the last fix at the sea surface during the previuos cycle 18 - Julian time (days) relative to 2000-01-01 00:00 UTC of the last fix at the sea surface during the previuos cycle 19 - Longitude of the first fix at the sea surface during the current cycle 20 - Latitude of the first fix at the sea surface during the current cycle 21 - Julian time (days) relative to 2000-01-01 00:00 UTC of the first fix at the sea surface during the current cycle 22 - Longitude of the last fix at the sea surface during the current cycle 23 - Latitude of the last fix at the sea surface during the current cycle 24 - Julian time (days) relative to 2000-01-01 00:00 UTC of the last fix at the sea surface during the current cycle 25 - Number of surface fixes during the current cycle 26 - Float ID. Correspondence between our float ID's and WMO float ID's is discribed in the file WMO2DAC2type.txt 27 - Cycle number 28 - Time inversion/duplication flag=1 if at least one duplication or inversion of time is found in the sequence containing last fix from the previous cycle and all fixes from the current cycle. File WMO2DAC2type.txt catalogs the float information included into YoMaHa'07 dataset: 1 - Serial YoMaHa'07 number of the float 2 - WMO float ID 3 - DAC where float data are stored (described in the file DACs.txt) 4 - Float type (described in the file float_types.txt)
