TRMM Microwave Imager (TMI) product: 3-Day Average

The Tropical Rainfall Measuring Mission's (TRMM) Microwave Imager (TMI) is a multi-channel, dual polarized, conical scanning passive microwave radiometer designed to measure rain rates over a wide swath under the TRMM satellite.

Warning: The SST data from the Tropical Rainfall Measuring Mission (TRMM) Microwave Imager (TMI) will no longer be produced by Remote Sensing Systems after Feb 14, 2015 because of quality issues.  They suggest not using TMI data for any rigorous scientific research past November 2014.
