QSCAT 0.1 deg global 3day

Full resolution (0.1 degree) OFES output, QSCAT forcing

The OGCM For the Earth Simulator (OFES) is a global 0.1x0.1 degree model forced by NCEP winds. It was run with climatological forcing for 50 years, and this output is 3-day snapshots for a further integration with QSCAT winds. This model is based on MOM-3.0.

Please note: 2007-2008 are currently only available to IPRC scientist. Bio variables are not available for 2008 (also detritus and nitrogen are not available from late 2006)

2D: convergence u (cm/s), surface height (cm), boundary layer depth (cm), heat flux (cal/cm^2/sec), mixed layer depth (cm), salinity flux (g/cm^2/s), zonal wind stress (dyn/cm^2), meridional wind stress (dyn/cm^2)
