ERS-2 monthly mean wind fields
Monthly mean ocean surface wind as retrieved from ERS2 microwave scaterometer. The dataset provides the following variables : wind speed, u v components, surface stress, wind divergence, wind stress curl and their corresponding errors all on 1/2 degree global grid.
The data are processed by WOCE Data Assembly Center (DAC) and then maintained at French Research Institute for Exploitation of the Sea (iFREMER).
