AVHRR derived SST monthly climatology
AVHRR clear sky derived SST data were acquired from Physical Oceanography DAAC (see the link to originator).
Monthly gridded SST from Jan 1985 to Dec 2002 were averaged to produce monthly SST climatology on ~ 9km global lat/lon grid.
